Irrigation Service Technician
Position Overview
Niagara Sprinkler Systems, Inc. is looking for a dependable and personable Experienced Irrigation Service Technician to join our irrigation service team. This role involves performing high-quality service, repairs, system diagnostics, and maintenance on residential and commercial irrigation systems. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently and directly with customers. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting abilities and proven experience working in the field as a service technician.
Key Responsibilities:
Service & Repair - Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on irrigation systems. Complete service work efficiently and to high standards. Ensure proper system function after each repair.
Customer Communication - Serve as a direct point of contact for customers during service appointments. Provide clear explanations of issues, repairs, and recommended improvements.
Scheduling & Documentation - Document service work performed, parts used, and system issues. Maintain accurate service logs, records, and client histories using company software. Communicate clearly with office staff regarding schedule updates or parts needed.
Quality Workmanship - Ensure all completed jobs meet company quality expectations. Take pride in clean, professional, and precise field work.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of irrigation, landscaping, construction, or service-based field experience.
Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Comfortable in client-facing situations.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20-25 per hour based on experience.
